Monique has been involved with illustrating stories relating to the Online Sperm donation project led by Dr Rhys Turner-Moore at Leeds Beckett University and funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, is the largest study ever on online sperm donation. Ten researchers from five organisations are collaborating on the project.

‘What is life like with Long Covid?’‍ ‍

The poster was commissioned to link with a series of illustrated stories shared on Imperial College London’s social media pages as individual slides for each carousel and storyboard poster.

These stories were inspired by the defining Long Covid responses as well as the REACT-LC study interviews and cover the different areas of people’s life that might be impacted by their symptoms.

In 2022 Monique produced a poster visualising the way contributors described their ‘fatigue’, ‘breathlessness’, ‘pain’, ‘tingling/buzzing’ and ‘brain fog’ symptoms, among others.

This poster was shared via Imperial College London’s social media online and re-shared by the German Health Minister Dr Karl Lauterbach in 2022.

This poster has been translated into six languages; French, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Hindi
